Divorce is a very challenging situation that happens for a great number of couples. It’s a very long process, it’s a very draining decision to make, and when we see ourselves taking steps towards the separation, we suffer even more realizing that it’s for real. Not only do the emotions get overwhelming, we also deal with fears of all kinds. Fear of loneliness, fear of lack of support, financial fear, and the list goes on and on.
In this episode of The Wellness Revolution Podcast, Amber gets really personal to tell you her experience with her divorce and how she was able to overcome so many fears that were brought to surface all of a sudden. Amber explains that, even though she always had a profession and was very safe financially, she had to shift her mindset and internalize that from that moment on, she would take care of herself. - Amber explains that divorce does not happen overnight and it’s not a sudden decision. On the contrary: it’s a long process that requires patience, a lot of inner work, and caution (especially if it involves children);
- When we see ourselves taking real and solid steps to actually end the marriage, it might be really scary – for example, getting legal advice. Amber explains that it doesn’t need to be this way and getting information is just part of the process.
