According to Trish, building your foundation starts with cultivating awareness. To begin, she says that the key to a healing journey is cultivating accountability, responsibility, and practicing non judgment for those things. Follow up by asking yourself, “how do I feel about this?” and “how have I perpetuated suffering for other people?”. The more you practice this and build up your awareness, the health benefits will present themselves. Once your physical body is prepared for the mindset you have cultivated, then you can stop returning to old habits that continue those unhealthy cycles. 

Women can struggle with always being the “yes woman” and constantly pouring into others without pouring into themselves. Sometimes women can also fall into societal expectations and wear too many hats feeling bitter, resentful, non-purposeful, etc. Or they may feel hyper independent or against men. There’s also women who feel suppressed and disconnected from themselves, lacking confidence in life. Can you relate to any of these? When it comes to boundaries, women have a hard time expressing it due to oppression, lack of trust, uncertainty, etc. Start asking yourself, “how do I set a boundary and love you while still loving myself?”
