TWR 117: Confidence: Where it Comes From and How to Get More of It

In what areas of your life do you feel confident? Maybe it’s at work, after you’ve exercised or when you put on a certain outfit. One of Amber’s clients recently told her that she never feels very good in her body because she wears scrubs all the time and feels she does not look good in anything else she wears. Does this dilemma sound familiar to you? There are many women who can relate, but this feeling of not having confidence doesn’t have to be your reality. In this episode of Amber’s podcast, she shares two strategies you can use to start embodying your future higher self and showing up more confidently today.

Amber discusses where confidence comes from, how to create unbreakable confidence, and how to embody the future self you desire. We’ve talked about mindset goals repeatedly on this podcast. Making those goals and accomplishing them will lead to life transformations. In a later exchange with Amber, the client we just mentioned told Amber that one day she decided to wear a cute outfit at home. She was with the kids and had nowhere to go, but she still put on the outfit because she paused to ask herself: What would future me do? As a result, Amber’s client reported that she felt much better. This proves that through interrupting our negative self-talk and taking small steps towards what we envision in our life, we can embody our truest selves.

If you choose to embrace your future self starting from where you are right now, by adopting the lifestyle, habits, and mentality of your future self, a higher version of yourself will emerge.
