TWR 144: Hormonal Balance for Sustainable Weight Loss (Part 1 of 4)

Amber aims to empower women to break free from dieting and regain confidence in their bodies by adopting a healthy lifestyle that is easy to maintain. The current culture often perpetuates the notion that weight loss requires restrictive diets and calorie counting, leading to feelings of failure if individuals cannot adhere to strict meal plans. This approach overlooks the fact that weight loss is not solely determined by calories, but also by hormones and overall health.

Amber’s solution is what she calls the Hormonal Fat Loss Blueprint, a four-part approach to sustainable weight loss. In this first episode, she will discuss the first part, which focuses on eating for blood sugar control and hormone stability. Hormonal imbalances, particularly in insulin levels, can greatly impact our hunger, energy, and ability to lose weight. By incorporating blood sugar-stabilizing foods, it becomes possible to manage hormones and achieve weight loss without counting calories.

In this episode, Amber will delve deeper into this first pillar, explaining the role of insulin, the body’s glucose processing, and insulin resistance.
